Tatton Park Wedding Fair: The insiders experience

If you were one of the lucky people to win a free ticket from our giveaway then you’re already aware, but if not, we were exhibiting at the prestigious Tatton Park wedding fair on the 6th and 7th of February.

This incredible fair has a long-standing reputation for quality with a touch of glamour – and this showed throughout the entire weekend. The venue itself was the picturesque Tatton Park, known for its gardens and acres and acres of beautiful landscape – over 1000 to be precise. The winding road leading to the wedding marquee takes you through a tunnel of trees, with deer and majestic stags standing ground in huge packs. If you live in the area and haven’t yet been, it really is a must see, perfect for young and old families the same.

Typically, on the setup day on the 5th, the heavens opened and rained down upon us while we lugged all the display rails, suits, dresses, TVs, mirrors, shoes – and a million other bits and pieces we couldn’t do without. However our capable team made short work of setting up the exhibit itself perfectly as planned, we now feel we can consider ourselves seasoned exhibitors. We took the time here to get to know our neighbours and made some valuable connections; you can see our handsome model George taking a quick break on “Love Lights the Ways” massive light up LOVE sign on their Twitter (@LoveLightsTW).

The show, unfortunately, was still a rainy affair on Saturday, but that didn’t deter any newly betrothed wedding planners from storming the Park and seeing what everyone had to offer. We always find that everyone stops and ogles at the stand, even if they don’t have children of their own to dress, they just find the tiny waistcoats and oxford shoes adorable – and we can’t blame them. Even now, when we see the stand all set up, it gives us an enormous sense of pride and we can’t help but “awwh”.

After the Sunday, all those that were exhibiting and even those that were just visiting were exhausted, but satisfyingly so. This weekend was another great success for us. We always love to meet customers both old and new and see what people really think of our products – the feedback is always welcome and we love to hear it! We can’t wait until the next show to do it all over again.
