Golden Globes: Get The Red Carpet Look

Kickstarting the awards season, the Golden Globes have given us a first look at the award winners and, more importantly, the outfits that made the headlines of the annual 76th Golden Globes ceremony.

GOLDEN GLOBES: GET THE RED CARPET LOOK

Every colour made an appearance in womenswear, from Emma stone in blush to Lady Gaga in an understated (for her) lilac dress with train and coordinating hair do. However, with so many fresh looks from all the ladies, it was the men’s more classic outfits that took centre stage.

KEEP IT CLASSIC

Hosted at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California, the ceremony was presented by Killing Eve and Grey’s Anatomy actress Sandra Oh and Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg. Opting for a classic tuxe with Bow tie, you can nail Samberg’s look with our James Suit. This classic option is a style essential at any party (or awards event!) and is the go-to look for most gents on the red carpet, including Hugh Grant and Ricky Martin

GIVE TEAL A TRY

Daring to be different, Idris Elba wore a blazer and waistcoat in opulent teal tones by designer Ozwald Boateng. With the designer's made-to-measure suits starting at £1600, your boy can embrace the blue look without the price tag with our exciting alternatives. For the upper class look, try our Felix Teal Blazer and waistcoat. For just a touch of the teal trend, choose the grey Knox suit which boasts an eye-catching lining and accessories, or opt for a simple accessory update for his essential teal trend fix.

THE LUXURY LOOK

Opting for an updated tuxe look, Richard Madden wore an Armani velvet black ensemble with patent shoes. Mark Ronson, Dave Franco and Adam Driver also chose to add a touch of velvet with their luxury outfit choices. Why not replicate their slim fit style with our Valentino Suit or Felix Blazer? For a more casual look, you can rock a velvet Oscar waistcoat with jeans or trousers.

BE ICONIC IN IVORY

Another dashing look that dominated the headlines was Welsh actor Luke Evans in a modern four-piece white tuxedo, with contrasting black lapels and trousers (and red socks!). We can’t help you with the quirky sock choice but we’ll have your suit sorted. The Porter Ivory Tuxedo will do all the work to keep your boy looking dashing at any event. To get the red carpet look spot on, pair with the patent Nico shoe.

GIRL POWER

Not afraid to rock the suit, Judy Greer did the girls proud in her own take on tuxedo dressing. For those fierce females wanting some style inspiration Paisley of London’s Lennox suit will keep you strutting your stuff in the ultimate girl power look of 2019.

THE STARLET COLLECTION

With awards season just starting, we can’t wait to see the next looks unfold on the red carpet. We'll be sure to keep you updated on all the best-dressed celebrities, but you don’t have to wait for your next style update, view Paisley of London’s Starlet collection and get them party ready!
